Trade Finance explained

Trade finance bridges the long gap between paying an overseas supplier and selling the stock. Letters of credit, documentary collections and import lines let you settle with suppliers on their terms while deferring your own payment, often for 90 to 180 days. Multi-currency facilities and FX hedging can be layered in to protect margins on landed cost.
